About Seminars

Research at the field of quantum chemistry is highly interdisciplinary and spans a rather broad range of theoretical and computational sciences. This type of research requires knowledge from many of the fundamental scientific and engineering disciplines, from mathematics and computer science. In order to facilitate the transfer of this knowledge and to encourage communication among the associated groups, the Quantum Chemical group designed monthly scientific seminats to educate the audience about both current research in the computational sciences and new tools or methods. The Quantum Chemical Seminar typically meets on the fourth Thursday of each month from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The meetings are held in the conference room of the Department of Physics in the 1st USOTU building. We encourage anyone interested in attending the Quantum Chemical Seminar to please do so. If you would like to present your scientific report at the seminar, please contact Prof. Kuznetsov. That’s why Quantum Chemical Seminar aims at fostering a community of computational scientists and researchers from the Republic of Bashkortostan by providing a forum where researchers can introduce themselves, present their results, discuss ideas, and initiate collaborations.
